Year in Review- 2018

Year in Review- 2018

This year flew by faster than a pot of coffee on Monday morning! We had such a great year with you!! We saw many changes to the restaurant industry, we lost some of our friends and, we welcomed some new and wonderful trends that we hope to see next year!

We are sharing with you our favorite posts from this year!! Not only our own but a few we loved from our favorite sources!!

In April we announced our flashy new website! That made it easier for you and your restaurant to work with us! As well as several changes to our software programs that make it faster and effortless for your team and customers!

Our partner spotlight series launched! You met several of our favorite people to work with! We are sharing just a few, but you should head over to the blog and read about the rest.

  • Foreknow - Foreknow is focused on using their technology to help your company use data to create more thoughtful and intentional interactions with your customers.
  • Ink Refuge - Why your restaurant needs a website and how that affects your business
  • Marketing Vitals - Data may rule the world but Behavior is what is going to revolutionize the restaurant industry

In addition to helping restaurants be more environmentally friendly with new straw policies and eco-friendly straws and how to reduce, reuse and recycle waste in the restaurant!

It’s been a busy year, and we found restaurants to be rapidly changing to be better for the customer! The National Restaurant Association, Toast, and Foodable kept us up to date on restaurant trends, happenings and what was successful for 2018!

While we are sad to be seeing 2018 ending, we are excited for 2019!! We are sure DaaS* (delivery as a service) will be growing bigger and bigger. Customers are going to be continuing to want their favorite foods delivered to them at concerts, parks, and outdoor festivities! We are going to be seeing more and more restaurants participating and asking their communities to join the #SkipTheStraw movement!

What do you see happening for 2019?
